A video going around the internet has left people absolutely speechless. In the clip, a father and daughter duo perform with other fathers and daughters at a school event. The video posted on Instagram has warmed many hearts as people praise the wheelchair-bound father for showing up for his daughter who would have otherwise felt left out.

The video captures the father, Charles Potter, and his youngest daughter, Charlize, on stage alongside her classmates and their dads. Like every other daughter-dad duo, Potter and Charlize too performed the choreography with some tweaks to adjust the routine according to Charles’ limited movement.

Even with her father in the wheelchair, Charlize and Charles did a great job of finishing their performance on stage and did not fall behind compared to the other dads and daughters. The caption on the video explained how Charles ended up in a wheelchair, “Daddy was hit by a drunk driver, but doesn’t let it stop him from dancing with his little girl,” it read.
In a conversation with GMA, Potter shared, “My youngest is doing … a dance hip-hop chair class. And they had these daddy daughter dances and she asked if I was up to, you know, doing them with [her]. I was like, ‘If you want to. Yeah, absolutely. We’ll make it work.’”
