Their mother, initially fearful of the world’s reaction to her daughters’ skin tone, has seen her children grow into beautiful young women. “People are startled to learn that we are albinos,” Asel explains. “A lot of people don’t know what albinos are.”
Asel began her modeling career at the age of ten, breaking barriers and stereotypes. With Kamila’s arrival and their family photos, their unique beauty became even more apparent.
“When I gave birth to my eldest, genetics was not so advanced with us,” their mother recalls. “It is developing only now. The doctors were shocked and thought that she was Russian. Then I started reading about this matter, and I have learned that my children are albinos.”
Asel attended a special school for handicapped children when she was younger but later transferred to a regular one. Her mother proudly states, “She studies perfectly well. Albinos do not differ much from other children, only their hair, eyelashes, eyes, and skin color.”
Adapting to the outside world, Asel takes precautions to protect her sensitive skin from the sun’s rays. “If I go outside in the afternoon, I definitely put on sunscreen, protective clothing, headgear, or an umbrella,” Asel remarks. “It’s a lot better for me in the evening when there’s almost no sun.”
Despite their different skin colors and unique features, both Asel and Kamila exude beauty. Their parents have never limited them, and they continue to break boundaries, proving that the world should never limit anyone from pursuing their dreams and passions. Asel and Kamila’s story is a testament to the strength, resilience, and unique beauty that exists within us all, transcending societal norms and expectations.
