Mum, 30, who naturally delivered quadruplets, talks about how having four kids altered her body and how she overcome those changes over the course of 11 months.

A mother of five has shared her journey of healing and regaining her body’s strength after naturally giving birth to quadruplets last year. Natalie Maree, a 30-year-old woman from Roebourne, Western Australia, used to believe that she had to quickly regain her “pre-baby body.” However, she discovered that it took nearly a year of dedication in the gym and mindful eating to truly heal her body. Even after 11 months since the quadruplets’ birth, Natalie still reminds herself that her appearance does not define her personality.

In a post on Instagram, Natalie expressed the difficulties of not comparing herself to others, feeling envious, or wishing for a different body. She admitted to experiencing these emotions but emphasized the importance of loving one’s own body and not comparing it to others. She urged others to remember that the body is merely a vessel that carries their unique personality and should be treated well and appreciated.

Natalie has incorporated regular exercise into her weekly routine alongside maintaining a healthy diet, despite the challenges of raising five young children. Her workouts include exercises like squats, presses with a plate, planks, and burpees. She often shares clips of her workout sessions on her Instagram page.

Additionally, Natalie shares photos of the nutritious meals she prepares for herself, such as salad bowls containing spinach, tomatoes, quinoa, mango, pumpkin, carrot, gherkin, capsicum, and avocado.

Her most recent post resonated with her thousands of followers, with many expressing gratitude for her bravery. Commenters praised Natalie for carrying and nurturing five beautiful lives, including four at once, describing her body as beautiful and incredible.

Before having their quadruplets, Natalie and her husband, Kahn, had struggled with fertility issues for years. Natalie was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, specifically a condition called anovulation, which required hormone injections to stimulate regular ovulation. After undergoing treatment, Natalie became pregnant with their daughter Kiki in 2018, never anticipating the possibility of a multiple pregnancy.

During their first pregnancy scan, Natalie was shocked to see two sacs on the screen, believing they were having twins. Overwhelmed with emotions, both Natalie and Kahn cried tears of joy. On July 21, their quadruplets—Maioha Kahn (2.3kg), Frankee Gene (1.92kg), Marley Rose (2.2kg), and Maddison Grace (2.1kg)—were born within minutes.

Natalie’s journey of healing and embracing her postpartum body has inspired and resonated with her followers, demonstrating the strength and beauty that comes with motherhood.
