Based on the mummy of Queen Tiye, who died in 1338 BC and was the grandmother of Tutankhamun and Akhenaten, a face reconstruction of hers was created.

Queen Tiye was the wife of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and the mother of Akhenaten, who was a radical pharaoh who introduced a new monotheistic religion to Egypt. She was also the grandmother of Tutankhamun, who is one of the most famous pharaohs in ancient Egypt.

The face reconstruction of Queen Tiye is based on her mummy, which is on display at The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo. The reconstruction was created using advanced forensic techniques and 3D printing technology.

Based on the reconstruction, Queen Tiye would have had a round face with a slightly pointed chin. Her nose is reconstructed as being straight and slightly large, with wide nostrils. Her lips are full and slightly downturned at the corners. She has deep-set eyes with heavy eyelids and thick eyebrows. Her hair is depicted as being straight and black, with a center parting and side locks framing her face.

The reconstruction of Queen Tiye’s face is based on scientific evidence and provides an intriguing glimpse into what she may have looked like during her lifetime.
