Adorable White Bengal Tiger Cubs Find Joy in Special Kindergarten at Taiyuan Zoo
In an endearing video released on November 10, the cubs can be seen playfully interacting with their human caretakers, showcasing the bond forged within the nursery’s walls. With the number of newborn white tiger cubs soaring at Taiyuan Zoo this year and many mothers lacking parenting experience, a dedicated team was established to raise the cubs in a designated area, creating an environment tailored to their needs.
Nursing a white tiger cub demands time and energy, as revealed by a zookeeper. The newborns require feeding up to eight times a day in their first two weeks of life. Despite the challenges, the majority of these cubs measure 70 to 80 centimeters (27 to 31 inches) in length and weigh around 20 kilograms (44 pounds). Their adorable antics and endearing features are set to captivate the public soon, as they prepare to make their debut outside the nursery.
The enchantment of these White Bengal Tiger cubs extends beyond Taiyuan Zoo, with two other Chinese zoos—Xinpu Park in Lianyungang and Jinan Wildlife Park—celebrating the births of White Bengal Tiger cubs this year. These majestic creatures, once a rarity in the wild, continue to thrive under the care of dedicated teams, bringing joy and wonder to all who encounter them
