1954 Chevy Truck – Patina Sleeper: A Modern Masterpiece by Farm Fresh

When Lee and Elenor brought their beloved 1954 Chevy truck to Farm Fresh, they knew they were in good hands. After meeting the Farm Fresh team at a car show and following them on social media, Lee was impressed enough to pursue a conversation about the work he required on his truck. After a few meetings and tours of the garage, Lee and Elenor decided that Farm Fresh was the right choice for them.

In March of 2021, Farm Fresh began work on modernizing the 1954 Chevy truck. Over the following months, the vehicle was stripped down to the bare bones and rebuilt in a spectacular fashion.

The first order of business was the chassis. Custom modified by Farm Fresh, the Mustang 2 IFS was installed, along with the Ridetech 4-link and GM 10 Bolt. A full Viair Air Ride system was also installed. Farm Fresh supplied and installed a Blueprint 383 Stroker and TH400 box, which married up perfectly. The build was finished off with some sweet Detroit Steel wheels.

This build was a labor of love that took plenty of man hours to get it right. Farm Fresh was careful not to go over the top with the work, as they knew that perfection would require restraint. The build cost for this was in excess of £50k, and the time frame was around one year.

The build was carried out by David, Albert, and Alan, who worked tirelessly to make this truck a modern masterpiece. Their attention to detail was second to none, and they were able to balance modern upgrades with the truck’s original patina.
